I wanted to set my out-of-office reply to something entertaining like, “Sorry I am currently on leave exploring the scenic beauty of Himalayas and drinking yak butter tea, which is utterly disgusting, but I will suggest you try it. I will be retuning on….” And then it instantly hit me. Tibet was going to be my next adventurous tour. An adventurous Tibet tour is the most mind-blowing journey to the roof of the world. Before paying a visit to Lhasa, I did not know much about Buddhism, Tibetan traditions and customs or its architecture either. Visiting various monasteries, temples, breathtaking landscapes and conversing with locals made me curious to know more about the sacred culture and religion of Tibet.  The best part being, the local Tibetan travel agency we had booked did a fabulous job telling us many stories back from 7th century AD when the Buddhism got introduced into Tibet, how Tibetans live as per Buddhism principles, the customs they follow and how Tibet differs from China in terms of language, custom, religion, and history.  Undoubtedly, this trip to Tibet was a great lesson for me to learn: a lesson not only of history but humility as well.                                                                                                                Lhasa, Tibet’s Capital City A short thankful note for the best local Tibetan travel agency I had booked to soak m
